Chef Flo's Super Food Tortillas are made with Spirulina, which is packed with health benefits including boosting immunity, energy levels and helping to reduce inflammation.
2 cups cassava flour (not tapioca starch) – use a really good non-GMO product such as Otto’s Naturals.
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp spirulina or (concentrated vegetable powder such as tomato or spinach or spices of choice)
1 tsp. dried onion
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 cup coconut milk
3 tbsp olive oil
Avocado oil to fry
Mix all ingredients except avocado oil in a food processor or by hand with a sturdy whisk. The dough should feel like playdough. Add more flour if it appears too loose. Let rest for 10 minutes .
Roll into 2 each sized balls and flatten with your hands or a rolling pin.
Fry in a preheated and oiled skillet ( Best to fry in avocado oil but olive is good too) on each side for 2-3 minutes under high heat.
