Flo's 9 Steps To Boosting Your Immune System


1 Hydrate

Hydration is always the number one thing to consider to rebuild, strengthen or support any bodily functions or systems; digestive, endocrine, respiratory, cardiovascular, etc.

Tip: Drink 2 cups of alkaline beverage of choice first thing in the morning – Water with Lemon, vinegar, pomegranate juice. Consider adding immune boosting essential oils or adrenal boosting agents (see below).

2 Detoxify

Your entire body deserves a detox so do something daily to mitigate or limit your exposure to pollutants and toxic substances that can affect all of your systems. They are everywhere so make mindful decisions with makeup, household products, food, the air your breathe, the people you hang with (yes, some people are toxic!) anything that can affect or tamper with all your system (and of course your nerves).

Tip: Consider doing green coffee anemas, colonics, body scrubs, oil pulling… There are many gentle and intensive ways to detoxify but the most important point here is to limit intake of toxins as much as possible; AWARENESS and MINDFULNESS are of the essence.

3 Support the Gut

Eat a balanced diet, include a lot of prebiotic and probiotic supporting foods to your diet. Eat plants in abundance that include all polyphenols.

Tip: Eat local, seasonal, organic, non GMO products as much as possible! Chew Chew Chew—Digestive health begins in the month so ORAL HYGIENE is very important!

4 Boost the Adrenals with Adaptogenic Foods + Herbs:

An adaptogen is something that boosts the body's natural ability to adapt to external changes and resist illness. Some adaptogens you can include in your diet are:

  • Holy Basil.

  • Ashwagandha.

  • Maca.

  • Reishi.

  • Siberian Ginseng

  • Aloe vera is a well-known adaptogen. It is thought that aloe's power as an adaptogen balances the body's system, stimulating the defense and adaptive mechanisms of the body. It is also a great supporter of colon health.

5 Get Your Vitamins!

Eat foods that include or supplement with these 3 vitamins:

  • Vitamin C is one of the biggest immune system boosters of all. In fact, a lack of vitamin C can even make you more prone to getting sick. ...

  • Vitamin B6 is vital to supporting biochemical reactions in the immune system.. All Bs are very beneficial so be mindful to include them in synergy daily

  • Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that helps the body fight off infection.

6 Exercise

Exercise is the ultimate health booster and immune booster!

TIP: Do something you enjoy daily – exercise mind, body and spirit.

Feed the child in you – Have FUN!

7 Reduce Stress

Consider a daily meditation or spiritual practice to increase oxygen intake and regenerate cellular health. Explore and find out what connects you to your FUNNEST SELF without SELF DESTRUCTING

Tip: Create Distractions that feed your soul; this is where the fun begins!
