Chronic inflammation is the root cause of most age related diseases. If we wish to reduce our vulnerabilities to allergies, autoimmune diseases and long-term risk of age related diseases, we must get it under control.

Reducing inflammation, and especially chronic inflammation, is something that most of us can easily do. It only requires adopting a few dietary modifications. You can be well on your way to a healthier you by eating certain foods like low-glycemic foods and foods high in omega 3-fatty acids and antioxidants. These are known to decrease inflammation and protect tissues from inflammatory damage.

Limiting or stopping consumption of animal products, opting for the highest quality organic produce and eating fresh, local and seasonal foods is the way to go.
