Charcoal & French Clay Detox Lemonade

Enjoy this lemonade first thing in the morning, or when you’re in need of a serious pick-me-up. This detox lemonade is a perfect short-term cleanse. Both activated charcoal and French clay are highly absorptive and quickly remove toxins from the body.

Charcoal & French Clay Detox Lemonade

Makes 2-4 servings


  • 4 cups alkaline water

  • ¼ cup lemon juice

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • 1-2 tablespoons Grade B Maple Syrup

  • pinch of Himalayan salt

  • 1-2 capsules of activated charcoal

  • 1/2 teaspoon French clay


  1. In a pitcher, combine water, lemon juice, zest, maple syrup, and Himalayan salt.

  2. Pour activated charcoal and French clay into the lemonade. Mix thoroughly.

  3. Pour over ice and drink immediately.

*Note: Charcoal absorbs toxins, as well as nutrients, so be sure to drink this 1 hour before or after eating or taking medications!
