Adopt 10 Habits Asap and Reboot Your Inner Drum !

  1. Eat Legumes. Dried beans and lentils such as garbanzo, pinto, kidney or black beans, are high in fiber, B-vitamins, minerals and other good stuff. Veggie chili, anyone?

  2. Drink Water all throughout the day best without food and with a bit of lemon or apple cider vinegar upon rising.read my blog on hydration for more tips

  3. Drink A 4-ounce glass of red wine (up to two for men and one for women per day) can help improve good (HDL) cholesterol levels. Red Wine ( It’s also good for the brain in moderation

  4. Eat Red, yellow and orange veggies such as carrots, sweet potatoes, red peppers, tomatoes and acorn squash are packed with carotenoids, fiber and vitamins to help your heart.

  5. Eat Green Veggies. Popeye was right spinach does rule ! So does kale, Swiss chard, collard/mustard greens ,bok choy, romaine .Use these also in wraps, sandwiches or salads instead of lettuce. Broccoli and asparagus are also filled with mighty good heart loving nutrients such as vitamins C and E, potassium, folate, calcium and fiber.

  6. Eat Fruits: citrus such as oranges, melons, mango and papaya are rich in beta-carotene, potassium, magnesium and fiber.

  7. Eat Berries for their phytonutrient rich content and much soluble fiber that are loving to the heart- blueberries are the most nutrient rich ! Indulge indulge indulge- They are good to the brain too

  8. Get Sweeter Eat Dark Chocolate a good friend to your heart. The higher the percentage of cocoa the better! (The fiber and protein increase with higher cocoa as the sugar decreases). You need at least 70% cocoa and best sugar free

  9. Eat Nuts & Seeds ( maybe GF oats) All Omega 3 rich foods.

  10. Supplement with Adaptogenic herbs such as Holy Basil and Ashwaghanda and incorporate amino acid rich spirulina to sustain your heart's health.

Truly a lot more is needed aside from food to feed my hungry heart but I know that plants can truly feed, rebuild and heal so eat them to your heart's content !

Know that in order to change your heart 's health.. You must initiate changes within Yourself first. Plants are there to help you on that journey

Becoming the mindful watcher over your nutrition is one of the key to total health and happiness.
